5:05pm - so much for eating mammal, it's nearing low tide, maybe someone will bring fish for dinner?

9:10pm Some strong winds gusts coming through area.
Romeo is excited.

10:12pm - Romeo quiet, dream time

SUNDAY, AUGUST 1, 2021

5:58am - Dad brought a fish
Romeo stood over, eventually started picking at breakfast

[Lynne]

6:20am - slow progress eating fish

[Lynne]

6:36am - break, time for a little wing activity
6:39am - Romeo onto west side branch

[Lynne]

9:52am - (mom) onto nest, starts eating fish, Romeo watching from west branch
too tempting, goes to nest for feeding

10:02am - Romeo swallowed the tail end of fish
Mom flew from west side branch - toward tall west tree

[Lynne]

10:10am - Romeo resting

[Lynne]

10:45am - Mom brought another fish
Romeo in from west side branch, claimed the fish - Mom off
- Romeo soon left fish, moved to west side branch

[Lynne]

11:39am - Mom in to check on fish, then Romeo arrived to nip at Mom and reclaim the fish - Mom took off
this time Romeo works on self feeding

12:07pm - Romeo ate most, Mom back to check for leftover bits

[Lynne]

12:09pm - another fish or still leftover?
Romeo flapping at side branch
12:10pm - back on nest for help with fish

12:12pm - lunch continues, Romeo ready to be fed - for the moment
12:19pm - parent on east side branch, Romeo still working on last piece of fish
