from the south tree the lower right eagle flew off leaving ? Dad with his foot out .
. Assume its Mom? now on FP
Mom? on FP and the 3rd eagle is still on lower branch of far tree.

HI all
This should rightly go on the ground observers string if anyone can copy/move it.
I just got back from searching for Quebec on the homeowners property (by invitation and permission) The homeowner was returning (had been away) and was unaware that Quebec is missing. He was most helpful and concerned. I was able to cover the area from the street entrance to the very end of the stairs on the bluff. I paid special attention to the nest tree itself and the grounds around it.
There were no eagles visible from the ground.
I found no signs of any predators and I checked for bear scat even though this is not bear country. There were no scats near the berry bushes or any signs of large animals. There aren't any ripe berries. I did not find any signs of an injured eagle. I looked under a lot of greenery, under structures where I did find a juvie feather but it was not bloody. There are many spots where a wet, injured eagle could hide that a searcher would be unable to reach .
I was hoping to check the neighbouring property (Mr RC) as well but I was not able to contact him.
Staff and Zoomers et al please contact me if you would like me to do more ground searches over the weekend and you can get permission from RC. My husband and I emailed him.
If anyone (DD?) has tips for looking for injured bald eagle fledgelings please post here or get a message to me via the admin team. I would be happy to support or join any search efforts if it continues to look like Quebec is still missing. Of course I have some concern but I am hoping for a good outcome.
