Another feeding, and smaller/younger chick Xray was in front this time and getting more bites. I think both are doing fine, and I'm only seeing an occasional tussle - but this time it definitely looked to me as if the younger one was full - and I got a glimpse of a plump crop, so all is well in the food department.

Older chick Whiskey will be two weeks old tomorrow, and you can see more of his/her dark second coat of down coming in. Xray is two days younger - and the difference is size almost certainly is an indication of how fast a chick can grow in a day or two.

0620 - 0628 - There was a feeding. Only Whiskey ate. Xray made no real effort to take any bites. I did not see any aggression from Whiskey.

0631 - Whiskey went right to sleep. Xray appears to be awake and chittering at the parent. Any food left for Xray maybe?

0632 - Parent responds to Xray who managed to grab a bite before Whiskey woke up and put him into submission. Glad to see Xray was interested.

0635 - Parent is carefully offering a bite each to her eaglets. Not much there. Xray is very submissive to Whiskey and does not want to get bonked.

Both parents are on alert. Trilling can be heard.

Good meal for Whiskey - hopefully, something better for Xray soon.
