6:33 pm - Pere took a bite of the fish he brought in and was trying to feed the chick at the same time that Mere was feeding them

6:34 pm - Mere picked up the fish that Pere had just brought in...it was still alive...somewhat....I thought she was going to swallow it whole but instead she ate the head then fed some pieces to one chick and ate some more herself

The other chick seems to be stuck underneath their sibling

6:39 pm - feeding is done

Mere was up and vocalizing just before 5 am....I guess telling Pere it's time for the day to start...she did a PS at that time

5:42 pm - the eaglet in front got a bit piece here....I really can't tell them apart at this point and don't want to assume who they are but guessing BB2 is in front only because more bites were going to the eaglet behind at first
2024-05-02 09_52_19-Greenshot.jpg
A couple minutes later another big bite as Pere comes in....hmmm...maybe that is BB1 in front....not sure?
2024-05-02 09_54_06-Greenshot.jpg
The eaglet at the back got a big piece here

Rollback

5:45 am - Pere left the nest.....going back though I did not see him bring anything in but hard to tell if maybe he had something in his left talons from the angle.
2024-05-02 09_55_34-Greenshot.jpg
Oops....didn't catch this until I decided to look at the before and after from the north cam....Pere did bring in a fish but it was in his beak and I totally missed it
2024-05-02 09_58_00-Greenshot.jpg
5:47 am - here is the fish that Pere had just brought in......the feeding is just getting done at this time

Rollback

6:05 am - Pere is back and he may have brought something small in...like a bird...I couldn't really see it but he took a bite of it to feed to the chicks...although no one took it......Mere flew off for her morning break

Rollback - 6:08 am - this is trouble...both standing tall facing each other and I believe it is BB2 that starts it by grabbing onto BB1....then BB1 retaliates. Pere covered them up after this

6:32 am - rollback - Pere still on the nest and I just noticed that he still has that mark on top of his head
2024-05-02 10_19_33-Greenshot.jpg
7:16 am - Pere was up and seemed to pick up one of the fish to feed his chicks but I guess Mere was not having that....I think she came down to the lower north perch from the high one....sounded like a crash landing...then she was on the nest quickly

7:16 am - rollback - Pere left the nest.....I thought Mere was going to feed the chicks but instead she picked up what could have been a fish and ate it herself.

2024-05-02 10_25_22-Greenshot.jpg

7:26 am - somehow BB2 (assuming it is them) got in there and grabbed a bite of food. All of the previous pieces had gone to BB1....then BB2 got at least three in a row

7:27 am - a big piece here for BB2 (?) as Mere continued to feed this chick
2024-05-02 10_33_53-Greenshot.jpg
7:30 am - feeding is done....this was a great feeding by Mere....she fed one chick at the beginning and then the other at the end of the feeding. Both seemed to get plenty of bites.

7:36 am - Mere has her chicks all tucked in
