5:37am rollback, Pere eats quite a bit himself but I think a few bites go to Blue that's closest to him on that side. (Can't check on other cam because that footage is missing.)

5:45am rollback, Pere in with another fish. It looks like he starts handing some bites to Bowen, but I can't tell how much they got. Blue didn't even get up before the feeding was over.

6:09am rollback, Mere feeds the eaglets... well really just one, Blue.
At one point Bowen reaches in to grab a decent sized bite and then just lets it fall out of their mouth.
Not too long of a feeding.

8:53am feeding cont'd...
Bowen gets the whole meal (and do well with it) because of putting Blue into submission.

9:23am rollback, another fish brought in by Pere. Blue gets all this as Bowen doesn't even come forward until the meal is over.

9;57am rollback, Mere in with another fish but she doesn't feed the eaglets. She digs around in the nest and then sits down with the eaglets.

Thanks for your reports, Rose and Muriel - I can't believe how big those chicks are getting!

We've just received word that the power will be off at the site until Saturday as part of the ongoing electrical work being done there. I'm not sure if this will be the last time they'll need to turn it off, but am keeping fingers crossed.

:eag:

Good morning, everyone. We've had another update - the work is taking longer than anticipated, so it will be a bit longer until power is restored.

Photographer and forum member AP Hovasse was able to get out to the site briefly yesterday and noted that there's a lot of noisy work going on, which may be stressing the adults a bit.

He said it was very windy while he was there, and he thought he might have seen one chick head pop up briefly but couldn't be sure. He did get this amazing picture of the nest, one adult, a neat cloud formation - and a special guest appearance by an airplane! Photo is ©AP Hovasse, used with permission, all rights reserved - and clicks much bigger.

This is cropped from the original he sent me, which is too big to post; it also clicks bigger:

AP is hoping to get out again today when the weather may be a bit better and with luck he'll have a clear look at the chicks.

Bowen and Blue are about 6-1/2 weeks old now.
