2:25pm rollback, picking up from where I left off earlier [Judy's post was about Mere squinting so there is no redundancy here].
Mere feeds the eaglets from a fish already on the nest. Mere herself probably ate more than half of the fish. Both eaglets got some but of anyone Bowen had the least... again not because they didn't have the opportunity. They picked at the fish a little themselves as it was on the ground but didn't really get much from that... and they did accept some bites that weren't too big, from Mere. They seem to want to avoid the bigger pieces that Blue can handle easily.

2:57pm rollback, Pere in with a fish. Blue grabs the whole thing right away but can't do anything with it so Pere takes it back.
Pere then feeds Blue some bites but Bowen doesn't even get up.

3:18pm rollback, looks like Mere pops into the nest briefly. She takes a fish, eats it, then leaves... after she's gone there's still another fish on the nest, so I don't know if she brought one with her or if there was an additional one there I didn't notice.

4:59pm meanwhile through the zoomer cams I can see that both adults are around, one on the south perch, one on the north.

Both eaglets resting, Blue on the right I think.

Another look at the left eye - the adult has definitely been somewhere a bit messy (not surprising as they live on the shore of the bay), but the eye looks clear to me.

And just because I was zoomed way in, another look at the right eye.

I apologize for the delay in posting these - wanted to get a message off to GLS to let them know the cams were online again, and then needed to step away from the computer for a few minutes.

It's now 2:44 pm, the cams are streaming on the Live Cams page again, and Bowen and Blue are sleeping on the nest.

Definitely Mere here. Have certainly noticed them squinting a lot in the last few days with all the wind although it's a bit less windy today.
Thanks, Rose! I thought it looked like a female beak, but you had mentioned Pere being there, and I wasn't sure if there'd been a switch - and I don't know this pair well enough to make an educated guess beyond beak shapes and sizes to guess gender.

Yes, true, he had been there before the cams went down.

5:06am rollback, both adults come to the nest. Pere first with some fish which Bowen grabs immediately but can't do anything with.

5:08am rollback, Bowen scares Blue off a bit so all the bites from Mere go to Bowen.
Jun6-Roll5.jpg
Still even when a piece is slightly bigger, Bowen will still grab it but just let it drop to the ground. Just don't know why they are avoiding eating larger pieces even when they're really not that large.
Jun6-Roll6.jpg
Mere eats the remainder of the fish. Blue doesn't get any.

5:22am rollback, North cam is missing time.
There is a section on this cam that jumps from 5:22am in one frame to 5:59am in the very next one. I was wondering why some things are missing on the North cam... it's because around 40 min of rollback is missing.
