1:13pm zoomed in on the other egg, I can tell if that mark is just a smudge of dirt on it or not.

1:14pm I was hoping to see a little feeding, but it didn't happen. Adult (Pere) covered up the eaglet again.

3:20 pm
I was beginning to wonder if this was the same pair as last year (we thought it was - they seemed to know the area and be comfortable with each other) - but it seemed that a couple of times the tiny one was up and peeping, and the adult was looking at the pile of fish, then looking at the chick, but hadn't quite put the parts together.

I'm not sure which parent this is, but I'm pretty sure they are connecting with the chick at least part of the time.

PS - I loved seeing Pere give Mere tiny bites of fish - glad you caught that, Sue!

Hi Judy
I think it was Pere doing that, looking at the pile of fish and then back at the chick.

Then it was Mere feeding the chick around 3:20 and still there after.
