1:30 pm - just came across this adult on the tree as they were flying off....they went downward to the left and stayed there for a little bit before coming back up

Here they are flying back up....they headed to the right

1:31 pm - here they are flying low as they went behind the dike and out of view....they did this quite a few times...maybe swooping down to catch something but I don't think they got anything in the end.

Here they are a couple minutes later....the last I saw of them, flying to the right and then again, I lost the cam....and when I go to check the rollback the picture is all distorted so not sure if it's my end or at the nest that is having a connection issue.

4:02pm rollback, Mere got up and started being vocal, I assume to Pere up on the South Perch...she then flew off and I imagine this is her flying around in the background.

4:02pm rollback, it was kind of hard for me to tell what exactly happened here as I didn't already have the cam on the South perch. Maybe Mere flew there and landed and kind of kicked Pere off... regardless one was there before, one stayed and one left.

4:02pm rollback, someone landed on the nest and it had to be Pere because he is on nest duty now.

Out of sequence -

I happened to be looking at the computer at 3:48 pm when something big and dark appeared to fall off the top of the nest. Now that I've checked the rollback, I'm pretty sure it was one of the adults diving for something below the nest - especially since the adult on the nest didn't seem alarmed.

Great shot Judy!

4:58 pm - rollback - had just seen the cam shake before this so I assume Mere was perched above and flew off....going out and now coming back here...landing on the nest. Pere is up quickly and off the nest....seems like there could be some rain

:eag:

Good morning, everyone! I was doing a quick check of the cams while the adults were taking a brief break (I think one of them may have been perched overhead) - and I got a peek at the eggs! Not often easy to see them with the angle of the cam, and the deep nest cup, not to mention the very attentive pair.
