Rollback

11:22 am - could hear Pere vocalize then Mere got up and went over toward the lower perch....could see another wing flapping...assuming Pere landed there. Can really see that one notch on the lower right of Mere's front collar

11:22 am - rollback - Mere goes off onto the lower perch

Lots of vocals between the adults and then I do believe this is Mere that comes back onto the nest less than a minute later

1:17pm rollback, both return to the nest but I think it's Pere who leaves again and Mere stays.

Seems really windy but I'm going to log into the cam for a bit.

okay someone else is on the cam moving it while I am in the middle of looking around

2:35 pm - I put the cam back on the nest and am now logged off

Adding that I can see someone is now zooming in on Mere after I logged off so not sure who got on the cam while I was on there but I am done for the night.

Sorry, Sue - it was me who moved the cam back to the nest after I got your message and checked to make sure no one else was logged in.

The person zooming after you got a nice closeup of the adult on the nest at 2:36 pm (Pere?).

I think the other adult landed on the nest at some point after that, either while the cam was zoomed in, or while it was looking out towards the Dyke. Ah ha - caught it on the roll back - second adult (on left below) arrived on the nest at 2:41 pm; not sure if she(?) came down from a perch or flew in.

Then the one who had been incubating the eggs got up and flew off at 2:46 pm, and the other one took over nest duty.

Not sure who is who - the incoming eagle looked slightly larger, but that could be a matter of perspective.

I am out of the cam - was only in briefly to check the settings and move it back to a view of the nest - and I should have posted that first, before doing my recap - sorry.

3:33pm rollback, my guess is it's Pere on the nest here. I know he had something on his beak earlier as well and it looks like whoever is here seems to have some beak bling.
