No I mentioned it to Christian the photographer for David and he said you didn't like the names David and Hancock so I suggest Lafarge Jr. and Vancouver for the two eaglets at the Pandora nest?

What about Flapper & Bouncer for the Lafarge eaglets
Re: Lafarge 2017/2018 Eagle Nest Discussion/Scaps/videos
Apollo and Amities are okay we need a vote because Flapper and Bouncer and Lafarge Jr and Vancouver are okay

Re: Lafarge 2017/2018 Eagle Nest Discussion/Scaps/videos
Hey everyone,
Not sure if we have a bit of a situation at the Pandora nest. At 7:30 tonight I was observing the eaglets in the nest. An adult then flew into the nest and an eaglet got knocked out. I watched it fall down to a lower branch about 10-12 feet (?) below the nest. I could easily see the eaglet from the east side alley between Pandora and Triumph Streets. It was calling quite a bit.
Will the eaglet be able to make it back up to the nest to get food? Am I worrying over nothing? Any suggestions?
I will try to post a picture, and in it you can see the nest at the top and the eaglet a little lower down on a branch.

I wouldn't be too worried at this point Eastvan Girl. It may find a series of hops to get back up to the nest. If it ends up on the ground though its a different ball game. Call OWL

That's branching the eaglet will be fine unless it ends up on the ground, it will have racoons and skunks to deal with Okay is that what you call the Lafarge eaglets "the twins" Karen? or are the twins some other two eaglets say at the Delta nest or Harrison?
Re: Lafarge 2017/2018 Eagle Nest Discussion/Scaps/videos
Good morning JudiW.
Karen posted that the '' twins '' are now called Apollo and Artemis.
Apollo and Artemis were two twins born by the king of the gods Zeus and Leto, a daughter of the Titans Coeus and Phoebe.
( I looked it up on Google) You can read about their story when you google it.
Have a nice day JudiW.

Thanks for your report on the Lafarge nest EastvanGirl. Yes, if one is on the ground call OWL as Steamer suggested.
Re: Lafarge 2017/2018 Eagle Nest Discussion/Scaps/videos
I observed one eaglet this morning and the other must have been hiding somewhere else in the tree. Nobody on the ground and there appears to be a day long meditation/yoga session going on in the back grass of the eagle nest property under the nest. Lots of eyes if anyone comes down
At noon both adults were at the nest. Ma doing a feeding session on the nest with either Apollo or Artemis and Pa up in the shade on his favorite westerly perch.

Hi Everyone,
From my window I can see the eaglet still on a lower branch. The other eaglet is in the nest and an adult on a west branch - to me it seems like it's on an even lower branch than last night. I will walk over to the nest after dinner and check things out, and good to know I can OWL if things turn pear-shaped.
