Hello, Bev and all! I scrolled back and found this osprey arriving at 6:43 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 11, 2020. The osprey stayed perched on the branch (never came to the nest), did a poo shoot at 7:08 p.m., then flew off at 7:16 p.m.:

I saw that also Sue and I have scaps ,I zoomed in . It was an Adult that I think was passing through..we saw one on the light post down the road from us also ... there are at least 20 nests in the area of the nest with in a one mile radius of one another :)

FRIDAY MARCH 12, 2021

Hello everyone ... I have news.. I knew this at the end of season last year.. I was in touch with NS Power a few times and was hoping this work be be done when the Osprey's left.. that didn't happen.

CINDY'S SNAPSHOT: Moving day at Russell Lake

This might look like a big pile of sticks, but that is actually an osprey nest. Susan Baldwin was out along Russell Lake on the Freshwater Trail in Dartmouth, N.S. when she captured this scene.

She wrote, "... the osprey nest (the one that the NS Osprey Cam has been viewing for years) was relocated to a new pole location a few hundred meters up the trail. This is to allow for as little disruption as possible for the osprey when they return as there is construction work planned for the trail and pump house, which is beside their former nest location. I am not sure of the location of which nest the webcam will be viewing this year... The photo of the nest in the back of the truck gives an idea of the size of the nest... wow!"

Thanks Agnes for sending this to me

We will have to wait and see what happens here.. :luck: for a cam on the nest .

Thank you Bev (and for the email notification). I hope that all goes well for the Halifax pair. We'll see, they are a smart pair, so....fingers crossed.
Hi to both of you!
