Some moments with Wakati...

Night has fallen.. Wakati is alone on the perch.

Wednesday September 5th / Thursday September 6th ... 2018

Harriet is not seen on either of these 2 days so it is believed that she has also started her migration south.

Hal makes fish deliveries to Wakati on both days.. Wakati is spending the night's on the perch and hanging around the nest for the majority of the time on both days. I think she did make at least one attempt to fish on her own on the 6th.

Before dawn on the 6th.. Wakati on the perch

While waiting for a fish delivery, Wakati found an old piece of fish laying on the nest which she ate to curb her hunger.

9:32 am - she left from the perch.. this is when I think she made an attempt to fish on her own.

She came back at 10:07 am - looking a bit on the wet side.


Finally at 10:18 am - Hal delivered her a small live fish.

The next delivery is at 3:01 pm from Hal for Wakati.

3:57 pm - Hal is quick with fish #3..
