I went to Beacon Hill Park today to search for Woody the little Barred Owl. I didn't find him or his parents but did find a Great Horned Owl perched in a tree right beside the path. There were quite a few people going by but it was concentrating on 2 black squirrels who were running up and down the branches in the tree.

Fascinating Kay....The GHO and the Barred are fantastic catches. I love the young one!

Thank you Carolyn. It's quite a challenge to get photos of the owls; they are usually hiding behind the branches but this one was in plain view :thumlft:
