2:56 pm woohoo. Rey finally gave us a great look at the chick. The little one looks to be almost half way out of the shell. :rh:

3:01pm.....Hi all..........thanks Sandy and Judy for posting and watching so far today.......thanks Ryan for taking the cams. I will watch and post what I see.

I'm relieved to see that chick too! H/S has been working hard to get free.

Hi Jean. You are so right in that the chick has been working hard. I was on the cam at noon when we got to watch almost 20 minutes. The little one just kept pushing and pushing its little head against the side of the crack in the egg. Such a fighter to get free. And I was worn out watching.

3:22pm...Rey is really trying to get this chick out...either using his beak or his foot to nudge the egg. Keeping the egg rolling will help too.

Love how Rey is cupping the egg with his feet here.
