8:10pm.......Brit is snuggling down into the warmth of the nest. There is a slight breeze.

It should be a quiet time here now. No intruder tonight, thank goodness.

OFF cams.

7:31pm.........From the rollback.............Hilarious, but heartwarming....... :grlol; :rh: .....Rey laid down in the nest by Brit. He looked to be trying to push her off the egg so he could take over. Brit did not budge.

I don't think I've ever seen a male and female adult lying together in a nest like this before.

10:19pm..........Checked the rollback........Brit has been sleeping much of the time since the last post. She did stand up around 9:01pm. She is still standing at this time..........likely giving the egg some air to slow down hatching.

Currently..........It has gotten quite windy and we see Brit's feathers blowing around.

Jean, what a sweet moment. Rey did the same during the middle day. Seems to be attempting to find a way to get his egg time. :rh:

3:12 am Brit is tucked in and incubating her egg. She spent a quiet night, getting up to roll her egg or stand over her egg and then lying in the nest bowl.

6:44 am checking in on Brit. She is lying down in the nest bowl. I heard her a bit ago softly calling out. She did get up a few times to check on her egg.

6:58 am a nice look at the egg. Oh boy, I can see where the egg has gotten a bit dirty and I foresee we will be looking at those dark spots hoping for future pip. Smiles.

7:13 am logging off both cams. Leaving the south cam zoomed in a bit to watch the action. Any zoomer who wants to change, please do so.
