3:16pm...So happy to see SR9 out in the open and doing so well! Rey is stepping into his role as father and supporter of Brit. Thanks to everyone for your posts detailing SR9's first day.

IN on both cams.

3:06 pm in rollback, Jean, I can post about the change of the guard and the feeding. You won't have to worry about the rollback. OK?

3:23pm..From the rollback......Brit is back. There was a COTG at 3:04pm. Rey of course was a bit reluctant but he did get up and leave. Brit had a feeding session with the chick before coming to lie down with h/h.

3:25pm.....From the rollback......Little eaglet was offered several tiny bits and it looked like the chick did receive many of them. This may end up being the best fed eaglet ever.

No worries, Jean. Brit looked to be pulling some very old leftovers. But she managed to get some bites for SR9. He/she looks so much stronger this afternoon with the passage of time and some food. Someone needs to bring in food for the pantry. :)

Sr9 seems really strong this early ! And we got parents that want to feed often

Rey looked like such a proud dad there with the chick popping out

Ok, I cannot tell if someone is in on the cams.

I"m going to log in to move them. I think Brit got chased to the nest. She brought prey.

Apologies for the confusion. I was having computer problems and some posts were not loading and my computer was making a horrible noise. Rebooted and all is fine.

3:51pm....Great commotion as Rey brings in fresh prey!! Brit saw him, called out and jumped from the nest to receive the delivery.

3:55pm.....The chick was offered several bites.............and it looked like it did eat.

Brit dragged the prey, a duck/loon?? across the nest and over the chick. But the chick popped out and was fine.
