How wonderful to see Tyr successfully self-feeding - so glad you were here to catch that, Sandy! 
Now that he's got that step, he'll be able to move on to the harder work of opening a food object - which I expect will come quickly now that he (or maybe she) has mastered the sanding on and holding part of the process.

6:37 am well now, it sure looks like Tyr has figured out that if he waits, Lof will keep digging into make the prey easier to eat.

6:47 am now both are eating again. The way Lof is pulling on the prey, it certainly looks difficult to get into.

Great close-ups of the Eaglets, Jean, and Sandy. Sometimes Tyr looks very leggy to me haha. So nice to see him using that foot to hold down that prey.
