Heard someone land - think this may be SF with more straw.
She (?) spread it around a bit, looked around, and flew off a minute or two later.

I've got the south cam on one of our pair. The other one is there but higher up and mostly obstructed by the tree limb. You can see a little bit of the white tail.
I have found that watching Eagles in Nature is the best and most addictive show on Earth - CC

7:44 am logging into the south cam. One of the eagles flew from the top of the tree.
“Eagles: When they walk, they stumble. They are not what one would call graceful. They were not designed to walk. They fly. And when they fly, oh, how they fly, so free, so graceful. They see from the sky what we never see.” – Unknown

Good morning, everyone! They do pick some interesting hiding places, don't they, CC!
Sandy, I have a couple of s'caps - hope I don't bump into your story line.
Both still in the tree at 7:31 am - interesting that they are staying perched as it gets light; something appears to have upset them, though I didn't see what it might have been.
They stayed there until 7:43 am, when one flew down to the nest, as Sandy mentioned.
And the other one continued watching from further up.
And I am out now.

7:51 am SM flies for the upper part of the tree to the nest. He quickly moved out to the right perch.
I am now on the north cam as well.“Eagles: When they walk, they stumble. They are not what one would call graceful. They were not designed to walk. They fly. And when they fly, oh, how they fly, so free, so graceful. They see from the sky what we never see.” – Unknown
