6:47 am
Rey has arrived.

He looked at the egg - and then he flew off at 6:49 am.

Brit is still on the nest, standing beside the nest cup.

I'm quite sure he'll figure it out - but it does sometimes take a little while for all the little dots to connect in the instinct I'm quite sure he has.

I'm away from computer for maybe 30 minutes.

6:49 am Brit is "having a conversation" with Rey. And now he flies.

7:44 am in rollback, Brit was lying in the nest bowl when Rey brings in some prey. He grabs a bite after Brit has claimed it. Good to see Rey understands he is suppose to provide food in the nest for Brit. :rh:

7:47 am in rollback, as Brit is eating, Rey takes a look at their egg. He then moves up to the upper branch and cleans his beak.

7:49 am in rollback, Brit continues to eat. Not sure what the prey is...rabbit maybe?

8:32 am in rollback, Brit is up and vocalizes. She rolls her egg and lies back down. She has been incubating her egg since Rey flew.

9:03 am in rollback, Brit has been lying in the nest unless I missed something. Rey is now in the nest. He steps on Brit's back wing with one of them calling out. Is this an indication he is ready for nest duty? Hmmmm? Brit is up and flies. Good for her to get a break from her nest duty.

9:11 am in rollback, Rey continued to eat some leftovers. Then he makes his way over for his first time for nest duty. He carefully moves some grasses and looked like he rolled the egg. Good for him.
