3:30 pm SM up top in the tree with SF down in the nest bowl.

Great closeup! I find it hard to zoom all the way in and be in focus.

Is this SF? It looks like a female beak to me, and she looks bigger than the one lying in the nest, though that's always tricky because of perspective.

3:31 pm SM now moves higher in the nest tree and goes out of sight.

Judy that is SM as noticed the notch in his wing before he went up on the upper branch. I find it hard to focus on the south cam too when getting close.

And now I see the bit of dark shading on the tail of the one in the nest, an indication that it is SF.

And she just went out on the West perch - which is a place that SF uses more than SM.

Or at least that was the case in the past - as we know, they can change their favored perches over time.

1:38 pm SF gets up from the nest bowl. She is so pretty. Can just see those two faded feathers on her back.

4:18pm.....Thanks Judy and Sandy........I guess this pair is coming the nest sooner now that sunset time is also happening earlier.

I am IN on both cams.........doubt if the adults will return now, but you never know.
