3:30 pm SM up top in the tree with SF down in the nest bowl.
“Eagles: When they walk, they stumble. They are not what one would call graceful. They were not designed to walk. They fly. And when they fly, oh, how they fly, so free, so graceful. They see from the sky what we never see.” – Unknown

Great closeup! I find it hard to zoom all the way in and be in focus.
Is this SF? It looks like a female beak to me, and she looks bigger than the one lying in the nest, though that's always tricky because of perspective.
Heading up higher.
Added - oops. Thanks for the ID. (It's SM)

Judy that is SM as noticed the notch in his wing before he went up on the upper branch. I find it hard to focus on the south cam too when getting close.JudyB wrote: ↑Sat Dec 03, 2022 3:36 pmGreat closeup! I find it hard to zoom all the way in and be in focus.

And now I see the bit of dark shading on the tail of the one in the nest, an indication that it is SF.
And she just went out on the West perch - which is a place that SF uses more than SM.
Or at least that was the case in the past - as we know, they can change their favored perches over time.

1:38 pm SF gets up from the nest bowl. She is so pretty. Can just see those two faded feathers on her back.

4:18pm.....Thanks Judy and Sandy........I guess this pair is coming the nest sooner now that sunset time is also happening earlier.
I am IN on both cams.........doubt if the adults will return now, but you never know.
