9:53pm.......From the rollback...........Both eaglets crawled up to Brit. They both had food. It was very civilized and calm. They already had decent crops so this should have just "topped them up".

9:55pm........Brit had a bit to eat too.
Time for sleeping. It has been a very warm day here and the eaglets do not need to be covered.
OFF cams.

Good morning, everyone! nightowl!
SR7 is 26 days old - SR8 is 25 days old
4:27 am
Adult (likely Brit) is sleeping with the chicks beside her; they were a bit restless while I was watching, but settled back to sleep quickly.
Looking back quickly, they appear to have had a peaceful night, with Brit changing positions on the nest several times, since she doesn't need to brood her growing chicks now that it's getting warmer.
She flew off quietly at 4:33 am as it began getting light; I heard a few calls right afterwards so she may be checking in with Rey. At least one chick looked up, but then both went back to sleep.
Time for coffee - back in a while.

4:45 am here is where Brit flew at 4:33 am. The eaglets are sleeping soundly. Good morning, Judy, and thanks for the heads up on Brit flying.
4:48 am logging in both cams for a bit to check to see if Brit is close.“Eagles: When they walk, they stumble. They are not what one would call graceful. They were not designed to walk. They fly. And when they fly, oh, how they fly, so free, so graceful. They see from the sky what we never see.” – Unknown
Re: Surrey Reserve 2022-2023 Observation and Discussion
4:53 am I checked the typical trees and didn't see Brit. These are close ups of the larger eaglet. Can see the ear opening. At least I think this is where his/her ear is located.

4:54 am and this is the smaller eaglet. Yesterday, the smaller eaglet had a messy feeding and can see a messy area around the left eye. Can also see the ear opening.

5:00 am the smaller eaglet has a crop drop as the larger eaglet does a good leg and wing stretch.

5:02 am the smaller eaglet is up for a PS. Both are in between waking up to preen and dozing off.

6:04 am in rollback, someone flew by the nest tree and was probably Brit who lands in the nest.

6:16 am in rollback, Brit found some small bites from the leftovers. The larger eaglet was fed these smaller bites.

6:44 am in rollback, Brit poked and pulled at the leftovers and ate a few bites. She also gave the larger eaglet a few bites. Doesn't look like there is much left of that leftover bird.
