5:42 am in rollback, here is where the owl did an almost fly into the nest. It quickly turned to the right with vocals.
Hi CC, I was here but not here. did see the fly in but was trying to figure out why I wasn't hearing sound earlier this morning.“Eagles: When they walk, they stumble. They are not what one would call graceful. They were not designed to walk. They fly. And when they fly, oh, how they fly, so free, so graceful. They see from the sky what we never see.” – Unknown

Hi CC, just a note, I am not getting on the cam as multi-tasking right now. Will check in later.“Eagles: When they walk, they stumble. They are not what one would call graceful. 7:00 am in rollback, SM is looking upward and I thought he might up there. But he flew.

11:37 am
Adult arrives on the nest.
Looks around for a minute or so.
Then up to the little perch.
And flew off at 11:39 am.
And then an adult flew in (I think with a modest sized branch) - and off again before I could get a s'cap.

1441 - I just checked the rollback to Judy's last update and did not catch any visits. That wind is unbelievable though!

The good news is that the pollen count is low....
And now that I have the wind to listen to, I'm very sure both mics are working!
Stay safe, everyone!
Off topic - it's -21C here in Maine, with winds a bit higher than what you have in Surrey, so currently feels like -32C they say (I have not been out to feel this myself!!). Being a bit of a math geek, I find it interesting that -40 degrees is the same in Celsius and Fahrenheit - and that is relevant, because it's likely to get that cold tonight here, and I'm not that far inland from the coast of Maine - first time it's been this cold here in 50 years. The inland mountains get colder than we do - I don't want to think what it might be there tonight - and do hope that they cancelled night skiing!

Both adults on the nest.
First one....
Then the second one coming in
And both together briefly, before one of them left.
Looking at he cams, the nest seems to be moving about a whole lot when viewed from the South cam, but I'm not seeing the background move much on the North cam, so I think it's the South cam tree that's swaying, and the North cam tree (with the nest) is pretty solid.
