9:31pm......Brit ate some of the nestovers. She pulled on a large clump of what I think were nestovers that were there. And she grabbed at a branch. Looks like clean up the nest time for her.

9:34pm....A bit more digging in the nest. The lets were just watching, not more food needed at this time.
Everything seems quiet and calm. Time for sleeping soon.

4:32 am in rollback, Brit had vocalized and then flew. A little head pops up as she leaves.

5:00 am in rollback, Brit brings in a rabbit and begins to feed her eaglets. Right now the smaller eaglet is getting bites.

5:06 am in rollback, the smaller eaglet has a PS. And the larger eaglet is grabbing at bites. Interesting, the smaller eaglet tried to cause a tussle but the larger eaglet just ignored him/her. Brit provides bites for both but mostly to the smaller eaglet.

5:13 am in rollback, Rey brings in a partially eaten bird. Brit grabs at it and Rey flies.

Good morning, everyone! nightowl!
SR7 is 30 days old - SR8 is 29 days old
Here's the link to The Weather Network's 2023 Summer Forecast, referenced above - https://www.theweathernetwork.com/en/ne ... er-impacts
Thank you all for the great coverage here yesterday and this morning (not to mention during the preparation of the nest, the 5+ weeks of incubation, and the chicks' first month)!
I've had a lot going on recently but have a bit of a break now, so should be able to help more for at least the next week or so.

5:33 am the larger eaglet is pulling small bites from the prey and ate that same small bite.
