3:44pm.....Thank you Sandy and CC398 for all your great coverage today! This pair does seem to like being near the nest these days and that looks very promising for eggs in the future.

IN on both cams.

3:38pm....Checked the rollback......no eagles have come back to the nest since the last post.

Lots of raindrops now which obscure our view.

3:57pm......I'm not seeing any of our eagles at this time. I will stay IN on both cams as they might visit the nest soon.

From 12:26 to 1:28 pm as SF and SM spend time in the nest.

Video Narrative:
From Surrey Reserve, Surrey Female (SF) and Surrey Male (SM) spent considerable time in the nest working. SM pops in first but left. SF is in the nest bringing some greenery. At that point, SM joins her in the nest and both putter around, aerating the nest and moving sticks. SM makes some trips to the upper branches, the support perch and would fly. He would quickly return to the nest to join SF as she continued to poke around the nest. Also we get to see their bonding with some sweet beaking. We have beautiful nice close ups of SF and SM when they stop for a break to watch. All and all, they spent about an hour in the nest tree.

Thanks for zooming, CC. Great close ups of SF and SM.

4:29pm....SF landed in the nest. Her visit was very brief, she looked around and flew off again. SF headed to the distant evergreen.

4:31pm.......SF as expected, went deeper into the branches and we can no longer see her there. I did not see SM but he could be in there too.

The wind has really increased and I would think our adults would like to be in a sheltered place tonight. I did check the tree perch for SM but he is not there.

I have put the S cam in nice and close on the nest as the view is not good right now.

I am OFF the cams.

ADDED: Thanks Sandy for the video! I did not realize you had posted that until I was ready to sign off. :D

6:47 am both cams are frozen. The south cam frozen at 6:33 am and the north cam frozen at 5:05 am. Will make a report.

6:49 am logging into both cams to take a look. I can't stay long though. Will stay on the cams for a few minutes. If another zoomer wishes to take them, just let me know. At this point, no eagles are in the nest. And it is raining.

7:25 am logging off both cams as need to get my day started. It is still raining and no sign of the eagles yet this morning.

I've reported the cams to Ken.

When I logged in quickly at 7:47 to see if the cams were online, I saw an eagle on the nest. I was in a hurry so didn't report at the time - but did grab a couple of s'caps.

I just took a quick look at the South cam, and it looks very wet, and I did not see any eagles.
