Also thoughts on what we want it to say , I was going to get it soon ,
I was thinking small eagle silhouette engraving , the date of birth or nest year , and small note of some sort ?

Example “ your wings were ready but our hearts were not “

Your guys feedback would be great ,
Thanks again, youngrichone, for leading the way. May I add a suggestion to what you have already proposed?

Yes Sandy, that would be even better. And the date is so important here!

Sandy,

Yes , I love the added quote and Tyr name on our plague! With the small eaglet silouette, Tyr name ,date and the quote is such a beautiful, rememberance, everlasting tribute to our courageous eaglet, small in size but mighty in heart and soul!!

Again youngrichone, I would still like to contribute to the plague.

I'm going in briefly on both cams to look at the presets - will put them back when I'm done.

Good morning, everyone, and thanks for starting out day, nightowl :bye 1:

I sent these to Sandy_W who is working on the presets as the names I generally use for some of the places the eagles perch:
20230918_001a.jpg

I'm fine with the names being reworked - am thinking we used to call the little perch over the nest Res's perch since she often sat there keeping watch, but am not sure if either Brit or Rey used it that much this year.

#1 and #2 are the perches the adults hop onto, either to perch for the night, or before flying off. My recollection is that Brit uses #1 more often, and both sometimes use #2, separately or together, but that's just my impression - I didn't look back and do any analysis.

I think we do need a name for #3, the slanted branch or trunk which chicks often go up as one of the early branching spots (the "little perch" #4 comes off from that) and am open to suggestions.

Thanks again, Sandy, for taking over the presets!

And thank you, youngrichone and all, for your work on the plaque for Tyr - that is lovely.

Thanks Judy for your suggestions. I like to keep things simple as its easier to remember that way. #3 reminds me of a balcony. That name would work for me (instead of slanted branch) but I'm sure there could be other possible names as well.

4:08pm........Time for a look around.......don't expect to see much of anything but worth a look.

IN on both cams.

4:20pm........A gray day here and it seems to be raining a bit right now. Can't see the bay very well as its too cloudy there. No sign of any eagles around yet.

For further reference...................this is the tree where our adults spent many nights this past year. Maybe should be added to the S cam presets.
