3:28 pm in rollback, SF brings some grasses in and spreads the grass. Then she vocalizes.
“Eagles: When they walk, they stumble. They are not what one would call graceful. They were not designed to walk. They fly. And when they fly, oh, how they fly, so free, so graceful. They see from the sky what we never see.” – Unknown

3:28 pm
Adult just landed on the nest with a bunch of hay or straw.
She (?) then gingerly stepped out onto the West perch (the one on the left from the South cam).
It does seem a bit odd to see her stepping so carefully when it's light out - but she seems quite comfortable once she's there, since I see her casually perched on one foot, resting the other one.
I'm assuming this is SF mostly because she's on the West perch; I think SM has been there occasionally, but have seen SF more often.
Added - just saw your post, Sandy - thanks for the confirmation. I'm not on a cam, so please zoom if you'd like.

3:29 pm then SF hops out on to the left support perch.
I can't get on the cams right now and need to run.“Eagles: When they walk, they stumble. They are not what one would call graceful. They were not designed to walk. They fly. And when they fly, oh, how they fly, so free, so graceful. They see from the sky what we never see.” – Unknown
Re: Surrey Reserve 2022-2023 Observation and Discussion
She flew off at 3:44 pm.
Added -
3:47 pm
I was going to report that she was back with a stick....
But the edge of the eye seemed darker and the tail seemed lighter - so I'll just say that someone arrived with a stick.
And then flew off - and then someone arrived with a stick - darker tail this time.

And now they are both there with sticks - at least that sort of answers the question about who is bringing sticks!
Almost dinner time, and I want to get a couple of things finished, so I'll just leave them standing and looking....
And then the one on the branch flew off, and then the one in the nest - I think they may have spotted another branch, with their eagle eyes. And yes, one is back, with branch. And I really am leaving now. Bye!

3:46 pm and 3:48 pm hi, Judy. It was SM who brought in the first stick and SF who brought in the second stick. Can see the notch in the feather for SM and the two faded feathers for SF on her back.
SM with his stick. SF with her stick.
SM with his stick. SF with her stick.

3:54 pm in rollback, SM is back to the nest. He seems to have found some nestovers as looks to be eating.

5:40 am had the cam up and earlier heard early morning vocals. Just a note I will be out all day so won't be covering the cams, especially in the early morning. If someone sees some activity, please post the observations. Have a great day.

Re: Surrey Reserve 2022-2023 Observation and Discussion
8:39-8:40 a.m.: Hello, all! Two adults arrived, one with prey, a bird of some sort, possibly a seagull? The one who delivered the prey began eating it. The other eagle flew off at 8:41 a.m.
Re: Surrey Reserve 2022-2023 Observation and Discussion
9:23-9:24 a.m.: The eagle finished eating its prey, moved a few sticks around in the nest and then flew away.
Re: Surrey Reserve 2022-2023 Observation and Discussion
Thanks so much, SueD, for posting the visits this morning. I think it was SF who brought in the food but will go back and check.
7:37 am in rollback, SM is in the nest with something in his talons. Not sure what it was. SF quickly joins him.
