1:23pm.....Visibility is really poor into the distance. Foggy, rainy and dull. These s'caps show where the bay is........can't see it.

4:35pm.....It does not look like we will see our pair tonight. They have not shown up anywhere. Its a wet day here and maybe they found a drier place to spend their time in today.

No one in the nest.

No one on the tree perch.

Too foggy to see into the distant evergreen.

5:45 am logging into the cams. I think it is SF who lands in the nest about five minutes ago.

5:43 am
Thanks for starting our day here, nightowl! :bye 1:

Doing a quick morning check of the cams, and there's someone on the nest.

Not sure who it is, but they arrived at 5:40 am - and headed over towards the west perch at 5:47, which is a place SF favors.

I love how she(?) carefully inches out onto the branch (reminder to self - she can't see the infrared light that's visible to us on the cam, so she has to feel her way a bit).

And I see there's a zoomer here who is almost certainly more awake than I am - so I am off to find coffee and breakfast.

Good morning, everyone!

5:44 am in rollback, I think this is SF. Can't see the two faded feathers but can see the frayed feathers on a feather on the right wing. A new odd feather is showing up. Not sure I have seen this one before. But didn't see any ID marker for SM.

5:47 am after digging a bit, SF hops out to the left support perch. She certainly is in for an early morning nest check.

6:11 am just heard soft eagle vocals but it isn't SF so SM is close by.

6:11:26/27 on the South Cam. Good morning, Sandy. SF was definitely making those vocals. I rolled back twice on the south cam to be sure and you can see her doing it. I am hoping to eventually learn to tell them apart from their vocals. She's a chatty one.
