It's the most obvious in the first scap I think. As soon as I saw he was in the nest I jumped on south zoomed and then north and zoomed seeing the frayed feather immediately. I guess there is a chance the female might come by. There's still time and I'll be watching.
Neat catch on the Juive earlier. Makes you wonder. I know my office Eagles have 2 juvies that are permitted to sit in the nest tree and seem to hunt in the territory. I saw them both just yesterday and the adults were both on their western perch without a worry. Really cool to see.

And he's off at 1:39 pm.
And I am out of the cams.

Hi Judy. I rolled back and watched the visit. It's better from the ariel view of the North Cam of course. I'm almost certain I see that frayed feather but I cannot be certain

Logging in quickly to take a look at the upper branches. And I do wonder if the new female we've been seeing got annoyed with the new male - or if she's just taking a break and visiting her favorite salmon spa, or wherever eagles go in the off season.
Added -
Not seeing anyone in the upper perches.
And for the heck of it, I took a look at the distant perch, and I don't see anyone there either.
I'm now back to a version of nest and upper branches preset (the bottom one on the list); I changed the speed for "tilt" to -5, the slowest setting, and hopefully have most of the west perch where the female often stayed and most of the upper branches where they both spent some time. One or both of them may be taking a break - but they could also be close enough to come in sometime later since the sky suggests it's a fairly bright night sky. Guess we have to wait and see.
Please feel free to move the cam to another spot - there's really no way to know where they might be, and we might get lucky.
Have a good evening, everyone!

I'm not sure what feather is frayed - here are a couple of additional s'caps - anything that helps with ID? Unfortunately the North cam isn't as high res - when we try to do that, the signal breaks up way too much. These all click bigger.
