Res moved away from the nest bowl and Sur who was carefully watching and waiting for his chance, moved in to the nest bowl. Ah it wasn't for long of course as Res picked the largest stick she could find to move back and forth forcing Sur to evacuate the nest bowl

more from Sur's big stick delivery. He looked busy with it once it was in the nest, but actual rearrangement was a challenge because it was so large

Sur sitting in his pretty looking nest. Here is the "bald" spot I am finding handy in identifying Sur when Re's cowlick isn't obvious.

6:51 am Res "dropped" in at 6:24 am, went directly to the nest bowl and has been there ever since.
