I just noticed that someone is perched in the cottonwood, enjoying the breeze. He or she arrived just before noon.

I'll log in quickly for a closer look.

Added - SF? Thinking mostly of the size/shape of the beak.

North is still not working well for me at all. I was hoping to get another view of our Eagle, SF? but I've put it back on home and will head on to the South Cam.

Hope you're having a good day Judy. :huggie:

1233 - Here is the back of a head of one of our Eagles :D

That breeze must be a relief for them.

1259 - Bless whoever this is. The heat has been horrible and they have struggled. I see very little open-beaked breathing and lots of dozing, and maybe some relief.

I'm going to leave the South Cam on our Eagle and then I'll be off doing Saturday things. Please feel free to move it. I'll check in later tonight.

Stay safe in this heat people and Eagles.

ADDED: Our Eagle flew when I wasn't looking. I pulled the cam back

2314 - Hey everyone! I'm sorry I'm only getting back now, but I've had a long day and cannot stay.

We have at least one Eagle resting here on the night perch in the darkness. It looks like they had been there for hours.

I'll check in tomorrow morning.

rollback

1941 - One of our Eagles arrived quietly. The cam was zoomed out so I can avoid having to guess which one :D

2041 - An hour later they were still perched.

2141 - And an hour after that, still perched. I only saw the one.

Good morning SR friends. Thanks for starting our day Nightowl. Here is a look at today's weather. A little bit cooler but expect it to reach at least 30C with full-on sun.

From earlier this morning

0509 - One of our Eagles was awake and ready to start their day. They vocalized a bit, perhaps to their mate. I only saw one.

0511 - They had a PS before flying

I checked the North Cam - no visits to the nest from our Eagles. It's high tide right now, so I hope they are hunting for fish in the cooler morning temps.

1022 - One of our Eagles arrived on the night perch with a meal I believe. They were making the bending-over motions followed by some feaking on the trunk.

1038 - PS before flying.

ADDED: In thinking about who the Eagle with the meal was, and if it was the male, you'd think the female would come and claim it from him... or perhaps they already had a fight about it off nest lol.
