Ken needed to reboot his server to install updates, so the embedded cams were down for a little while. I checked the north dvr before refreshing the page and did not see any visits before the cam went down around 12:40 pm.

And - now there are eagles!

That definitely looks like Sur on the left - first chance I've had to look at his eye in color, which is one of the IDs I use for him.

From the South cam.

I'm in the middle of something, but will try to keep an eye on them. :)

1838 - We have one Eagle at this night perch! I hope that means both Eagles will sleep there tonight. Heavy winds + rain tonight.

1852 - Hey looks like both Eagles were there on the night perch all along, Res I think is mostly hiding except for her tail.

I'll keep the cams here until total darkness.

4:25 am Finally getting around to posting the video of the visit JudyB reported earlier ths afternoon! The visit was 57 minutes in duration ad the video is heaily edited to remove poking around and S&L (standing and looking).

At one point Mom left the nest to fetch a branch of leaves and while she was gone Sur moved into the nest bowl. When Mom came back to the nest she literally pushed the branch she brought back towards his beak so he would take it and place it somewhere. IMHO I thinks she did it deliberately so she could claim the bowl! At least that's what it looked like to me! Then after placing the branch Sur went on to out do himself with an S&L time of 45 minutes (mostly cut from the video!) with out moving his feet - even when Mom left!

:vid: Nestorations and a cunning manipulation by Mom! - (7:11)

Looks like both are still there ar 7:27 pm

09:27:17 - an adult lands

09:27:50 - the other adult lands, with a Crow in hot pursuit!

Lots going on!

There were a few ins/outs with branches and mosses. The Eagles were busy placing these items, moving them around, trying out the nest bowl, supervising and a little nit picking :D

Well this is an absolute blast. We still have Eagles in the Nest.. well coming and going mostly is Res bringing items back to the Nest. She sat in the Nest bowl a bit which started to annoy Sur because he wanted to try it... when Res moved, Sur moved in and sat there :D

Sur stood and watched a bit after placing the wad of grass, then he was off again. Very busy Eagles today.
