4:35 am
Not seeing anyone - but I'm hearing trills!
Logging in on South briefly.
4:39 am
Calling has stopped. I didn't see anyone at the night perches, but it's still very dark. I've returned the cam to the wide view and logged out.
Wonderful to see the first branch of the season lying on the nest.
I'll be back when I'm awake.

Good morning, everyone!
5-13-7C = 41-55-45F
Looking back, we had a brief visit this morning, with Sur arriving first at 7 am, and Res a couple of minutes later. Res did a bit of digging on the nest (ID based on feather on head - they look very similar in size this morning), while Sur mostly stood and looked around. They both seemed alert towards the end of the visit, but didn't call out. Sur left just before 7:08, and Res followed a moment later.
Sur just after arriving.

Sur's departure.

Good morning Judy! Hey we're telling the same stories (; I am falling in love with these two Eagles. They seem so tightly bonded and I love how attentive to the Nest they are. Lucky us

4:31 pm No visits since CC398's last post but found this one from this morning at 11:35 am! I wonder if they are aware that their up stair's neighbours are back now!
Re: Surrey Reserve 2021-2022 Observation and Discussion
This is way late, but may be related to your post, gemini - I wondered what the squirrel was carrying around - and if he/she knew this was not the best place to be today.
From 11:38 am, and the squirrel definitely was carrying something.

Good morning, everyone, and thanks for starting out day, nightowl!
7-12-9C = 45-54-48F
I checked the dvr and found a quick visit by an adult at 7:24 am. Not sure which one, but they did some digging in the nest.
I'm thinking Res, though I didn't see the feather that sticks up on her head.
The upper tail looked white as she left, which does suggest Res.
It's now 7:54 am, and I didn't see any other visits.
