Not seeing the slightly tattered feather that helps me identify NM, but the tail looks lighter than NF's usually looks - though that does depend on the light.
Circle around eye looks dark here.
Closer look at the tail.

He was quite focused on eating, with only quick looks up and around, so hard to get good views of his head. Here are a few.

He flew off at 14:11, shortly after the last picture. I think I saw the feather on his back at one point, but couldn't find it when I was going back to get s'caps.
It's now 3 pm and I checked the dvr quickly back to the 8:09 am departure and didn't see any additional activity.

Catching up on your earlier posts Judy and saw the news about the fish barriers. Great news! I know the salmon reserves are a worry this year.

Re: Surrey Reserve 2021-2022 Observation and Discussion
I posted the info from Lani and CC about the visitor perched at the top of the South cam tree a few posts back - link to the post and all the pictures is viewtopic.php?f=114&p=575407#p575369. The video doesn't seem to be showing the description unless you click the three little dots on the right beside the video window - so unfortunately those watching aren't likely to be able to find their way to the forum post with the pictures that aren't in the video.
Ah well - I tried.
Please do look at the earlier post - it took me a while to figure out where everything is, and I'm not sure I have it right so I'd appreciate some feedback.
Thanks, and goodnight.

Good morning, everyone, and nightowl!
From the dvr....
I think this is New Female (NF) who arrived first at 8:41 pm yesterday evening, and was doing some serious digging in the nest bowl area.
New Male (NM) joined her at 8:44 am and showed some interest in the work she was doing.

They also moved a few branches on the edge of the nest. It looked as if NM considered bonding, and NF may have been receptive, but the moment passed. I'm recording this and will add a couple of pictures as well as the video since it really does look to me as if they are doing the things a mated pair does to prepare for the next year.
NM flew off at 8:49 pm. NF did a bit of standing and looking, and left at 8:51 pm.

This is exciting - they were back at 8:59 pm - and NF brought a stick! And NM helped place it on the edge!! I see a second little video coming!
NF tried the stick in a couple of other spots. NM moved to the east perch at 9:02. NF walked around the nest for a minute or so, looking around. I know I'm humanizing, but it really looked as if she was assessing what needed to be done.
She joined NM on the east perch at 9:04 pm. One of them flew off at 9:05; the other one looked around a bit then flew off at 9:06. The south cam was still in its full tree view, so I don't know who left first.
First Stick! (5:11)
S'caps from the video:
NF arrives with a stick!
NM arrives to help her find the perfect spot for it.
After he finishes placing it, she waits until he's busy with something else and puts it where she wants it.

I totally agree! There was also a brief visit by both of them around 5:05 am.
It's time for our morning walk - feel free to report on that one if you have time, or I'll take a look when I get back, and finish the posts for last night - my focus was on recording them before the dvr went away.

0505 - an Eagle landed in the nest and was poking around in the nest bowl
Hard to say who in grayscale but I'm leaning towards it being the NF due to the shading on the tail
0507 - Picked up and moved a stick!

0507 - their mate arrived and one of them vocalized briefly
0508 - It was the NM who arrived second and he is seen here on the left moving a stick!
third s'cap you can see the stick in his beak -
