I think there is a whole family that lives under the nest! We have seen a grey, a black, and a grey with a red tail in the nest at one time or another, sometimes together and sometimes alone. They were here again this evening!

I suspect the the smaller ones are the kids and the bigger one with the red tail is the Mama squirrel - I don't think Dad would be so forgiving! Only a Mom would put up with what these two are dishing out without so much as blinking an eye! It went on for about 10 minuttes - typical kids!

This is just a snippit of the fun time!

Good morning SR friends. I didn't catch any visits since gemini's post but it's October 1 and the Eagles have started returning to the Fraser Valley :w00t: .

It's foggy now but the sun will burn through it, so I'll take a look around later.

7:30 am in rollback, a little gray squirrel comes to the nest and quickly moves away.

7:37 am in rollback, now a "black" squirrel is moving around the nest along with the gray one.

12:08 pm the sun is shining. Checking the rollback on the north cam and didn't see any eagle visits since CC's last check.

7:39 am the north cam is frozen at 15:15 - 10/01 and the south cam time is behind at 1:36 am 10/02 at this point. Will make a report.
