1758 - As Sur wasn't giving up with Res's passive aggressive tactics, she decided to move him by force. :D

Good morning, everyone!

I see one of the adults was on the night perch last night - this is from 7:14 pm.

And still there this morning at 5:26 am, awake and preening a bit even though it's a couple of hours before sunrise.

I'm out of the cam.

Added - I heard some calling and went back in to check the branches above the nest, but didn't see anyone there. The adult was still on the night perch and had stopped calling by the time I logged in. I'm out again and off to get coffee.

Link for the weekend storm mentioned above is https://www.theweathernetwork.com/ca/ne ... -rain-wind - it looks as if the heavy rain will miss all of our nests though there will be some wind and waves from the offshore low pressure system.

Thanks for recording that, gemini - after reading CC's description, I knew it would be fun to watch.

I checked the dvr back to well before sunrise and didn't see any activity at the nest.

0653 - Caught one of our Eagles flying behind the Nest before landing. It's Res who spent the next several minutes doing nest bowl fittings and sittings.
