It's another beautiful day in the Fraser Valley. I did not see or hear any Eagles while I was looking around but FISH is a-plenty right now, alive AND dead, along the Fraser River. Eat well Sur and Res

1:02 pm Just checked the DVR back to CC398's post but didn't see or hear anything!
Last night I went back on the DVR and listened to the time period D&S reported hearing eagles and there was calling out off and on from 8:10 until about 8:23 pm. At one point I thought I could hear two eagles - one with a high pitched call and the other with a quieter low pitched sound. Could they both be back at the same time maybe?? I recorded it but the recorder didn't pick up the sound -sorry about that! I need to check the settings again!

Listening very carefully, just as the 8:14 call kicks in, (I should have left a little more dead space fo contrast!) I think I can hear a very faint call off in the distance - anyone else??
It is really difficult to pick up on the YouTube version, I hear it a little better on the original recording.
Several separate eagle calls at the Surrey nest between 8:09 and 8:23 pm.

Good morning, everyone! Thanks for the recording, gemini, and glad you're able to do some zooming, CC - I'm going to be busy with family much of the day, so won't be checking in again until sometime late afternoon.
