Good evening and Happy Fall SR friends. It was a gorgeous sky here tonight where I live in Chilliwack before it disappeared behind the mountain. I'm going to log in to the cams to see where it went!

I got only a minimal peek around as that sun set and darkness set in. No sign of our Eagles yet. Lots of Geese though.

I'm off both cams.

I'll do a quick check of the dvr before heading off for the night. :bye 1:i

7:28 am Checked the DVR from first light for eagles but didn't see anything - heard but didn't see geese flying by though!

Such a lovely view!

I searched high and low on both cams and saw some possibilities (dark masses mostly) maybe my eyes playing tricks on me? The nice clean cams allow for extra clarity which is a bonus. I can hear frequent scolding by Crows however :D

I'm off both cams for now. I am blessed to live on the border of TWO Bald Eagle Nests and my Fraser River pair has returned. There was some drama last season so I'm heading out to keep an eye on them. I'll try to get back before sundown for an evening look. :bye 1:

pic is just a nice boat on the water.

Thanks so much for zooming, CC - I enjoyed the tour.

Did a quick check of the dvr and didn't see any activity - but as I hear of other eagles returning, I think it won't be long.

Good night, everyone. :offtobed:

7:25 pm Peeking in on the nest this evening rewarded me with this beautiful scene! What a gorgeous color the nest tree is in the sunset!

Didn't see any eagles though!

Hi D&Seagles! That is wonderful! I was on line until 7:30 but didn't see anything! It certainly could be one of ours, Res did return on the 25th last year and that's only a day away! Although there are lots of eagles in the area it could have been as well! It's just great knowing there is an eagle around the area! We'll soon know if it was one of ours!

Good morning, everyone and :bye 1: nightowl!

Wonderful news that there's an eagle in the area - thanks, D&Seagles! And I agree that the view from the cam is often beautiful - one of the reasons I enjoy checking the dvr, even though I haven't yet seen any eagles.

I checked the dvr and did not see any activity.

I'll be working on other things, but have the volume up (and will be quite startled if a train comes by!)
