some shots of the meal Darlene mentioned. Thanks Darlene!

1842 - adult in with something bloody again. The Eaglets swarm initially but stand back politely with lots of noisy squees. Both Eaglets got bites, and some nestovers for later maybe.

In just under 10 mins the adult was suddenly finished feeding and flew.

Ugh! problems posting again. I could only add one capture and it won't even allow me to post the resized version now. Well this is frustrating, and very late so I'll head to bed now and back to the drawing board in the morning. Sorry everyone :bye 1:

Cont'd ....

Tucca was fed more than Tiku but I got the feeling Tiku's heart wasn't really in it! Tiku hardly made a peep while Tucca never shut up - even with food in his/her beak! In the end after the feed was over when Tucca and Tiku were both peeping at nothing in particular, I could easily tell who was who by their vocals. Tucca has a loud shrill squeeing like sound while Tiku has a relatively quiet low chirping sounding.

Both went down at 11:09 pm

3:15 am The evening has been peaceful with the kids mostly sleeping - however they are currently up and preening.

FYI I had absolutely no problem posting my scaps at all! Go figure!

Good morning Surrey Reserve friends! It appears so far that I'm back in business after a few test uploads. JPEG is the way to go. Thanks Judy :rh:

rolling back

0526 our Eaglets are awake to greet the adult who landed with a nice big piece of fish I think. Perfect food for the hot weather the Lower Mainland is expected to see today and next week. The Eaglets are very excited and squeeing so sweetly. Both are up close getting and taking their own bites. :rh:

feeding cont.

I think the adult is Sur only because the Eaglets now appear to be the same size! Isn't that something...

Sur continued to offer bites to his Eaglets but they were mostly done and were starting to get the zoomies and show off, at least one of them was. Sur was VERY hungry and stayed in the nest for almost an hour in total feeding himself once the Eaglets were done. He had a nice crop before he flew off.

Another good feeding for the eaglets.
Would be nice if the parents did some housekeeping but I suppose if food was in short supply the eaglets could look for left overs.

0842 - Res comes to the nest, and she is also VERY hungry. She may have brought something back I am not sure. Of course Tucca will take any/all offerings no matter how full they are. Tucca takes their offerings laying down :w00t: Tiku gets in there for a few bites. After that, both Eaglets watch their mother nourish herself. They came back for more periodically.

Res spends a good amount of time in the nest also. She's still quite hungry

Not the greatest quality here, not sure what the deal is now but some great winger action was going on. This is the best I could do. :cry1:

I logged back in to the South Cam to see if perhaps if I left it with funny settings. I might have so I tweaked it and I think the South Cam quality is better now. Oh well, I'm sure I'll catch them and their beautiful wings later. :bye 1:
