13:29:34 - SR6 is crying and trying to self feed. If there is food there, not sure why the adult is not responding to the non stop chirps. Distracted? not sure :dunno:

the second pic was SR6 swallowing something successfully before the adult flew

Adult in with what looks like a large fish. I think this is Sur.

SR5 is front and center.

It sounds as if there may be crows diving at the nest - Sur moved as if on alert.

It looked as if the South cam was shaking - I logged into the North cam to take a look, but there was nothing there by the time I went to check.

Sur flew off.

Going back to look at the feeding, I saw SR6 grab some bites, but SR5 definitely got more.

Both chicks are hanging out on the nest.

SR5 (lying down) wasn't interested in posing, but here's a nice look at SR6.

Big wing stretch by SR5 on the left.

Dinner time here - I've moved the cams back so they show most of the places the eaglets might hide. I'll try to check back a little later.

Feeding at 5:10 (17:10 nest time) Sr6 right up there to eat. Sr5 still napping,
Sr6 grabbing and eating fast, Sr5 eventually realizes Res I am saying is feeding by neckline. Looked like a fish first, Sr6 grabbed the tail of fish and swallowed it down then Res found some nest overs and finished feeding Sr6 and Sr5 got some too. :)
Feeding over at 5:16 (17:16 nest time) Res flew off.

Sr6 got most a good feeding and Sr5 did get some bites in towards end of feeding.
Sr5 still has a crop so good Little Sr6 got a good one on one meal this time.
Both got fed.

I just love at this stage when they stand on the nest, So tall and lean , turning into the young adult eaglets and looking over their domain and I often ponder what they are thinking..One day I am goin to be flying out there like my mom n dad, soaring the sky's, taking in the beauty of my world..

In time our little one, In time!

20:45 adult defeathering a Sea Gull :woohoo: the Chicks are soooo so excited. SR5 is angry and is keeping SR6 down. SR6 is running head down and ducking SR5's assault, going close to the adult. Again, not the best position having to rely on the adult reaching back which wasn't likely.

just as I said it, the adult REACHED back but SR5 interrupted. Down again.

SR5 was having trouble swallowing a leg I believe. Wow.. it was scary and intense. I think they finally got it down. In the meantime, SR6 got quite the feast

SR6 continues to be fed. Those large feathers and bones are giving me anxiety. I was a little worried about SR5 with that leg and then SR6 with those feathers. SR6 is still so excited to be getting all the big bites. :rh:

The Chicks fall into comas. Res heads up to her perch and looks down on her quiet well fed and satisfied Chicks. Well done Res and Sur :)

Good night for real.

Sorry you were here on your own CC! That was scary but it was wonderful to see SR6 get such a good meal. SR5 got more after he/she finally dislodged the bone. They both have huge crops. What a wonderful way to end my day.
