Good morning, everyone, and thanks for posting the weather, Bev.

Tiku is 11 weeks old today, and Tucca is 76 days old.

I think the eaglet on the right is still on the nest, but I'm not sure.

I'm logging into the cams briefly.

And they have not moved onto the supports yet.

I've pulled the South cam back a bit so we'll be able to see if they make it up to the bend in the slanted trunk - this is around the age they are likely to do that.

Have a good day, everyone!

Hello Surrey Reserve friends!

1152 both Eaglets are resting mostly and calling out for a meal. I did a rollback to Irisheye's last update and there have been no visits to the nest yet. What's up mom and pop? :dunno:

I'll check back later. :bye 1:

1231 finally a food drop! An adult lands with what is either a mink or a squirrel, already dead but fresh. Both Eaglets swarm, the adult gets the heck out of there.. I think Tucca claimed it and quickly mantled. As we know, Tucca is very good at stealing food.

Tucca works on their meal, getting frustrated at times, squeeing, perhaps hoping a parent will come on down and get things moving.

some captures of these beautiful Eaglets before the food drop. Tiku is in back and Tucca of course in front laying down. I'm basing the ID from the black markings on their beaks.

So I can tell you that Tiku watched Tucca for a bit, attempted to steal once, kept watching and then hopped over and stole their own piece. Tucca was caught off guard but didn't do much other than stare.

Here's the embarrassing part... I was logged in to the cams and watching everything but when Tiku headed over for the steal I panicked trying to zoom in and it all went wonky. I was yelling and swearing of course lol and only managed to get a late SS

1305/6 for the time of Tiku's steal.

After that meal, someone is not satisfied as they are still calling out. Look at them :rh:

I'm off both cams for now but have aimed them where Judy suggested earlier so we might catch some branching or "trunking" now that the babes have had some food. I'll be back later :bye 1:

Good thing I had the rollback playing after the the last feeding as there was another small food drop. Not sure who got it.

1342, small prey, possibly a young bird, claimed and mantled. I really want to know who this was but I'll have to check later.

6:26 pm Checked the DVR and there haven't been any food deliveries that I saw since Tiku managed to capture the delivery from Dad at 1:42 pm. Both kids are hungry and are periodically grazing the nest for leftovers.

Kids see someone off nest and getting excited - Tucca on the right and Tiku on the left
