Another thing I forgot which may be useful for next year is that they left a little line in the tree last year, which made it very easy for Alex to haul the heavier line up to climb the tree; I think he just fastened the little line behind the tree so it will be there for next year.

11:29 am Alex removing the rope from the nest tree and now David and Alex are moving over to the South cam tree to clean the south cam.

I'm going to run a recalibration on the North cam - it will swing around a bit.

Added -

That worked as I'd hoped. It helps the cam find its "home" position after it's been shaken or jostled a bit (which happens during the cleaning process) - and now the presets are working as expected, making it easier for me to find the South cam tree if I move away to check something else.

Comparison - nice clean North on top, not so clean South on bottom - but soon.... :D
