I tried to record the visit but in all good conscience can't. The distortion is just too much for me to deal with.
Sorry 🙁
Which visit, Bill - the one at 9:07 am or the one that just happened, starting around 12:25 pm? I was doing something I couldn't stop during the 12:25 visit, but it was great fun watching them move sticks and bump into each other! I didn't notice distortion during either visit, though I had to leave during the first one.

One thing to check - YouTube can reset the quality of the stream to low res - you can click on the gear that appears in the lower right when you hover over the stream to see if that's happened:

I'll try to have some pictures from the recent visit soon.

From the dvr

12:26 pm
Res arrives with a big awkward stick.

Sur arrives with a smaller stick a minute later.

Having a bit of a discussion about whose turn it is to check the nest cup....

Bill, as I'm looking at the video I took to get the s'caps, I'm seeing some nice sharp images like this (Sur on left)

But also some that are blurry, including a couple in my previous post. I have to admit I didn't notice anything except how much fun they were to watch while I was watching them - and the sound isn't choppy, so it's not something in the signal that's likely to respond to a reboot.

Continuing from dvr, Sur (I think) decides the best place for the new stick he just brought is on Res.

I think this is Res in the center looking alert.

I need to do something else for a few hours, but will try to add a video later unless someone else has a chance to do it first.

Did a quick check back to Bev's post and didn't see any visits.

I'll be away from the computer for a few hours - should be able to check in this afternoon.

10:45 am Three visits so far this morning - :vid: coming

Later after review:
I was wrong there were a total of 4 separate visits in total - 8:33 - 8:84 am; 8:45 - 8:48 am; 9:59 - 10:03 am; 10:08 - 10:14 am. Lots of poking in the bowl to move fuzzy stuff around and S&L time edited out!

Visit #1
:vid: Sur in first then Res. Sur leaves first (4:08)

Visit #2
:vid: Sur in first again, both leave at about the same time (1:42)

Visit # 3
I believe this is Res. It is hard to tell when she's alone - I think she went to the feather dresser this morning as her cowlick appears to be under control - but I think I saw a shadow where it is supposed to be though!

:vid: Res in alone (48 secs)

Visit #4
Definitely Res - Her feather dresser didn't do a very good job - the cowlick is starting to show again!

:vid: Hmmmm! Now where should I put this one! (2:34)

I just checked back on the dvr and didn't see any visits since gemini's post.

North seems to be pixelating, so I'm going to give it a reboot.

Hancock Wildlife Foundation needs a few things: We will give full Tax-deduction receipt.

1. An old Pickup -- preferably small size, to pull small trailer and eagle nests etc. Needs to be reasonably reliable but not fancy. Preferably auto but stick OK.

2. Need another small two-wheel trailer -- 8 to 12 foot box.

It just occurred to me that perhaps someone has one sitting around the yard taking up space -- we could give full tax receipt (Canada Only) for it. Wonderful.
