wow crop looks really big on our baby! :rh:

well Brit and Rey hit the ground running today how many feeds are we at 4 for brit and 4 for rey? haha

8:14pm........Rey picked up that clump of feathers/leftovers? and carried it over to the prey. He tried to eat it, not sure if he did. Then he started to take feathers off the prey again.


Once SR9 saw Rey with the food h/s began to squeal and call.

8:15pm...........SR9 watched and peeped and waited. Rey came to the chick to offer some bites a minute later.

8:16pm.......Rey offered some bites but the chunks were pretty big for a day old chick. SR9 opened h/h mouth wide.

It has been a great day for this chick and our adults! The parents seem to have everything under control.............they have matured so much from last year! Little SR9 had an excellent day here. Having one chick in the nest has increased the chances of success for this family.

Note......I have left the S cam zoomed out to show the whole nest but the N cam is zoomed closer in to see the chick.
