0619 - Good morning, SR friends, It's pretty nasty out there this morning. No nest activity since the last update.

8:44 am still no visits to the nest this morning by SF or SM. It is raining and windy. They probably are tucked in somewhere waiting for the storm to pass.

Good evening SR friends. I did a quick rollback to Sandy's last update and did not catch any visits. The weather is still not acceptable enough for our Eagles to make an appearance today apparently. I saw 6 in one tree today in Abbotsford, but the weather wasn't as bad there.

0551 - I hear a lot of Eagle trilling
I took a quick look at the usual places. Not on their night perch and it was too dark to see their storm shelter over in the big conifer tree.

Good morning, everyone! Thanks for your reports, CC and Sandy, and thanks for starting our day, nightowl! Happy to not hear the wind this morning.
The link for the article in the gray box is https://www.theweathernetwork.com/en/ne ... -of-canada - apparently Vancouver may still be expecting more snow although it's already received more than usual.
Have a good day, everyone!

2:26 pm Checked the DVR back to judyB's post but am not seeing any eagles. There is an awful lot of loud banging going on - not very welcoming to eagle visits.
I've been having computer problems the last couple of days but think it's sorted now.

Good afternoon SR friends. I checked back to gemini's last update and did not catch any visits. I'm starting to miss these two. SF (I believe) did some prolonged trilling this morning but other than that, no activity the last couple of days. I'm going to log in to the cams while we still have light and take a look around.

Well, I saw one large bird big enough to be an Eagle down by the water, but they did not stay long.
The Eagles are everywhere again in the Fraser Valley
I've zoomed in to the night time storm shelter and will leave the cam there for a bit in case our pair hunkers down there tonight.
I am off the cams, have to run and make dinner, but will be back to check again and move the cams back to the nest after dark.

Someone just landed on the nest.
Maybe SM?
And off again - and the zoomer found one of them!

Hey Judy! yeah that was me. I was stirring a pot on the stove when I heard one of them calling. I think it was SM who landed and then went to the lower perch, and then he looked up which helped me find SF.
Have a great night Judy.

1:56 am in rollback, I can see where one of the eagles flew from the night perch but did not see the other mate.
3:10 am quickly logging into the south cam to move it back to the nest.“Eagles: When they walk, they stumble. They are not what one would call graceful. They were not designed to walk. They fly. 7:14 am so far no eagles have visited the nest. I did hear eagle chatter maybe an hour ago.
