7:16 am both SM and SF are watching something under the nest. It disappeared though. I didn't see this under I checked the rollback.

7:16 am SF hops out on the left perch and SM quickly flies. SF then flies.
7:23 am off both cams.“Eagles: When they walk, they stumble. They are not what one would call graceful. They were not designed to walk. They fly. And when they fly, oh, how they fly, so free, so graceful. They see from the sky what we never see.” – Unknown

10:26am........From the rollback........there were 2 brief visits by an adult just a few minutes ago. Not sure which adult, but am guessing it was SM. He? brought in a small stick the first time.

10:27pm......From the rollback.......After hopping up to the side perch this adult flew off. Someone came back and I'm guessing it was the same adult. He did not stay very long.
I cannot stay this morning.

Adult just landed and started placing a stick, which I think they brought.
Second adult arrives with bigger stick.

1213 - Hi Judy. I just zoomed in but cannot stay.
I have found that watching Eagles in Nature is the best and most addictive show on Earth - CC

Thanks, CC!

Both are still busy working on the nest; the other one just flew off, perhaps to get another stick.
I suspect they are both young - SF still has some dark shading, and SM appeared to have a bit when we first met him (and didn't seem interested in working on the nest last year) - so this may be the first time either of them have built a nest. I'm not an expert, but I think they're making good progress! Now where does this stick go??

Re: Surrey Reserve 2022-2023 Observation and Discussion
I think this is SF, though I haven't seen the light spots on the back.
And the second one just arrived on the left below, and size suggests the new arrival is SM.
SM flew off, and I think I see the light areas on SF's back.
SM has been doing some perching around the nest, so I'm going to pull the south cam back a bit to see more of the tree, then log out again.

And there he is! (Or one of them is - I may have gotten confused again).
I am logged out of the cam, and away from the computer for a few minutes.

12:41 pm in rollback, Judy, I am picking up where you left off showing SF in the nest.

12:47 pm in rollback, SF in the nest flies. SM on the right perch then flies.

Re: Surrey Reserve 2022-2023 Observation and Discussion
12:57 pm SF is back in the nest. She has a dark spot under her left eye. Noticed a piece of dark "something" earlier and that "dirt" may have moved over away from her beak.

3:03pm.......Busy, busy eagles....thanks Sandy, Judy and CC398 for posting!
IN on both cams.
In case you need another marker for SF's ID here is her longer black feathers on upper tail as she flew from the nest.
No eagles have returned since the last post.
