Thanks for contacting Lani - eyes on the ground could be very useful. Lots of calling, and I think there are at least three eagles around - new male, new female, and stranger with dark stripe on the tail.
Lani just reported back that she saw two Eagles in the tree 30 mins ago before one took off calling. She sees 2 in the tree now.
Two in the tree plus the one on the evergreen?? Interesting! :w00t:
I know! :w00t: and I feel so disabled right now. Crummy timing.

Re logging in - did Chrome update recently? The zoomer links use http rather than https, and some browsers are making you change settings to use the less secure links. (Note - there is no personal information saved there, so it's not a problem that it's less secure.)

Wondering if the evergreen is behind the trunk of a tree from where at least one of the adults in the nest tree is perched - maybe they don't know there's an eagle there??

I pulled South back - I can't get close enough to ID the adult there unless he/she changes position, and this way we'll know if the one up higher comes down, or may see someone fly by.

Other suggestions?

Eagle on top of evergreen just flew off to the left; I wasn't fast enough to follow.

Other eagle in view is still perched up high and to the right.

Adult is still sitting calmly on a branch above the nest.

I haven't seen anyone on the North cam since the one on the evergreen flew off; the evergreen is to the right of the north cam tree in the s'cap below.

I did take a look around with the North cam and didn't notice anyone perched within viewing range, though the fog makes it harder to see white heads.

It is almost dinner time here. I'm going to put the North cam back looking at the nest, and pull the South cam back again to show more of the upper branches, and I may keep an eye on the cam with my iPad while I have dinner, just to see if anything happens.

I am out of both cams and away from my computer.

Adult was in the upper right corner

And just flew off.

And the cam is moving - hope that means you are back in business, CC!

1754 - Someone is here. Not sure who they are yet. It's mighty tense right now and I heard some calling a few minutes ago.

Coming to you from my crappy Firefox browser, but at least it's working.

hey Judy! I'll keep zooming when I hear something

Someone just arrived.
20220123_021.jpg

And flew off. I'm hearing calls - maybe more than one eagle - not sure.

And I really need to say goodnight - sorry - and thanks to those of you on the west coast for hanging in to see what happens next.

1827 - Lani said there were two Eagles in that tree and they both flew off

1828 - Lani says 1 came back because she could hear the wings but she cannot see from her vantage point. I'll try ours!
