9:20 am Eagle arrived at the nest just as I got to the DVR. No one arrived since CC's last post until now. The eagle stayed less than 4 minutes - just looked around and poked at the nest a bit then left.

1307 - The New guy is on Res's perch. Not sure when he came in

ADDED: I zoomed in and now I'm not actually sure who that was but haha, it's almost like they saw me trying to figure it out as they quickly booked it at 13:08:28

3:18 pm
I just went to check the dvr and found there was a visit beginning at 2:44 pm. The new male arrived first - I saw the tail as he landed, and have had a fairly good look at his eyes. He did a bit of digging, then went to check out the leftovers.

A second eagle joined him at 2:46 pm - haven't seen her cowlick yet, but no reason to suspect it's not Res.

New Male got to work moving sticks around (and bumping into her on occasion).

Res is closer here - pretty sure I saw her cowlick.

She flew off at 2:49, and New Male continued working on the nest.

Res was back with a stick at 2:50 - and nipped at him when he tried to take her stick. (She's on the right in the pic below.)

Cropped from full screen - I think Res is on the left, but they are quite close in size.

One of them - I think Res - left at 3:07 pm and the other did a bit of standing & looking and left a minute later.

Checking the dvr, they were also both on the nest around 12:50 pm.

It looked as if one of them was trying to get the other one's attention by pulling on a feather - not sure, but I think it's Res on the left doing the pulling, after nipping at him a bit.

Added - watching again and recording. I think it's Res in first with a stick at 12:48 pm, then New Male, empty-taloned. And I'm pretty sure it's Res (with cowlick) who is nipping at New Male, who is mostly ignoring her and digging in the nest. Res flew off first, and New Male stood and looked around for a couple of minutes then did a bit of work on the side of the nest (and worked on the leftovers a bit) before flying out at 12:55.

Res?

Whoever it is, they just arrived. I think I'm seeing the cowlick, but hard to tell with the wind.

She (or maybe he) is working on the leftovers - and the new male has seemed more interested in that.

Nope - it was the new male. Here is Res (on left), spot on head much more obvious and tail looking more like hers. (Spot not as clear in the s'cap as it was when she landed)

In on South briefly to move it closer to the nest. Res is on the right here.

Res flew off at 4:26 pm and the male left a minute later.

I am out of the cams and away from the computer.

Good evening SR friends. I'm going to log IN to the cams.

ADDED: No Eagles seen at the Nest or perch by the buildings yet. I am OUT of the cams for now.

10:00 pm checked the DVR back to JudyB's last post but didn't see any eagles. There isn't anyone on the night perch that I can make out - it is very dark but the wind and rain have stopped for the moment. I hope it has stopped in the Fraser Valley as well - they need a break out there!

0711 - Good morning SR friends. I moved the cams from the perch by the buildings and took a quick look around the nest area but did not see any Eagles.

1247 - I haven't seen any Eagles to the Nest yet today. The good news is that the weather has finally made a turn for the better, so I hope they are getting the opportunity to dry off those 7000 feathers :w00t:
