Hi Farniente; thank you for today’s s’caps. I'm not sure who is going to pick up reporting this nest here on the forum. I haven't seen Bev here so I just jumped in and started posting the s’caps from chat. I still have my Berry College nest duties but I’ll do what I can here.

Two eagles have been spotted by a neighbor perched together near the LY....believed to be Gabby and V3. We have a visiting eagle perched at the nest...doesn't appear to be either of them. Hoping this eagle will fly off after the storms.

Today's forecast: Mostly clear this morning with a few thunderstorms in the area in the afternoon. Temps low 70's to mid-80's and winds generally less than 10 mph. Sunrise 7:08 am and sunset 7:34 pm.

It appeared that Gabby arrived at the nest around 6:24 am...she joined V3 on Wallenda at 6:28 am....then we believe she escorted that visiting eagle away...two flew off on cam 3 at 6:28 am and V3 remained on Wallenda.(edited)

After an almost 3 day absence from cams, Gabrielle appeared this morning - large and in charge - literally. We had a visiting eagle at the nest last evening - more than likely seeking shelter from a nasty thunderstorm. This eagle flew at 9:30 pm but apparently not very far! V3 arrived at the nest in the wee hours and as he perched quietly, at a little before 6:30 am, two eagles flew into the lower part of the tree, a few minutes apart. One of the vocals sounded like Gabrielle. A few minutes later one of the two eagles escorted the other out of the area. Gabrielle returned around 8:15 am, and she and V3 perched quietly for a few hours! She means business!
