Enjoying a gorgeous fall-like weekend upon us with cooler temperatures and no thunderstorms in the forecast. A series of troughs will push inland to our north generating gusty west winds at times and even some precipitation to portions of Northern and Central California. It is unlikely we'll see any precip across Southern California aside from maybe a little marine layer drizzle near the coast. Looking at a nice day today under sunny skies with highs in the mid 60's, westerly winds gusting 10-20mph during the afternoon. A deeper trough will move inland to our north early next week, producing gusty west winds to around 25mph at times and further cooling. Highs will drop into the lower 60's towards Tuesday and Wednesday while overnight lows begin flirting with the freezing mark. Fall officially arrives on Thursday and it will feel like it, at least temporarily as high pressure is forecast to return by the end of the week. This should drive temperatures back up near average next weekend with near to slightly above-normal temperatures and dry weather expected through the end of the month.
