Good morning Bev, Marianne, Androcat, Heather, LadyDeeagle55, and Kenai.
First morning vocals 4:54. More vocals at: 5:29, 5:32,5:47, 6:08, 6:16.
It’s 9:51 but the cam is stuck at 7:18. BBL

Hi Bev,
I'm sorry I haven't gotten back to you before now. Busy end of the school year. Unfortunately, I am not seeing any pairs of eagles right in our area but there are a lot of eagles in this area and they definitely sit in our trees because it is a great view for hunting. I suppose it is quite possible that Aurora is one of them. I'm really bummed and wish I knew why the eagles have deemed the nest unsuitable. I have not located another nest with eagles nearby yet. I will be around more once school gets out and I should be outside with the ability to observe more. There are tons of Jays around (which I don't care for). If you hear or see anything else please let me know. I will try to check this email a little more.Take Care

THURSDAY May 6

Good morning Bev, Marianne, Androcat, Heather, LadyDeagle55, Kenai, and all who read this.
First morning vocals T 5:04am. More vocals at 5:07, 5:33
ACTIVITY:
At 5:45 our hoarse eagle arrives at the cam tree with prey while being pursued by another eagle. This happens very quickly. Hoarse eagle proceeds to pluck the white bird as one sees the feathers dropping like snow from above. I’m trying very hard to slo mo scap but it’s hard! Area where two eagles were

If you have the volume all the way up you can hear it eating. It vocalizes from the tree at 6:11. Another eagle vocalizes from elsewhere at 6:15. Vocals at 6:16, 6:32, 7:02, 7:30, 9:09 (hoarse eagle.) 9:55, 9:57, 10:11.
Moving ahead. Vocals at 3:39, 4:03, 4:08, 5:00. Moving ahead. Lous vocals at 7:52.
ACTIVITY:
Adult arrives while vocalizing 7: 53

Quickly followed by a juvenile eagle. Two to two and a half maybe based on plumage?

Adult takes off right away

Juvenile is mantling while pulling at food.

I couldn’t tell if it was fish, fowl, or prey.
Adult flies by on the right side 7:09

A little feaking 7:10

It moves up Mom’s branch (from last year.) 7:35 followed by a lot of vocals (not hoarse)
